Which is better, solid state relay or mechanical relay

Electromagnetic relays and solid state relays are one that is afraid of shock and the other is not afraid of shock; the former is afraid of magnetism and the latter is afraid of induced electricity; one is low in heat and the other is high in heat; one is low in price and the other is high in price; the former is easy to replace and the latter is opposite.
Solid state relays and mechanical relays have their own strengths.
1. The mechanical relay has strong overload capacity, and the solid state relay is not allowed to be overloaded.
2. When the mechanical relay is disconnected, it is physically disconnected, and there is no leakage current. The solid state relay is not physically disconnected, and there is a leakage current.
3. The solid state relay has no mechanical components, so the switching speed is fast, and the number of switching times is almost unlimited.
4. The mechanical relay has mechanical components, so the switching speed is slow, the mechanically worn contacts are burnt, and the number of switching times is limited.
5. The solid state relay is easy to be damaged during overload or lightning strike.
6. The safety life of mechanical relays is long.
