2. When using a current transformer, a grounding point should be set in the secondary circuit to ensure a good connection. Generally, it can be set at the box terminal to avoid the insulation breakdown between the windings and the formation of high voltage and personal safety. In addition, the secondary winding must not be open, otherwise there will be a danger of overheating or high voltage, which will burn out the winding and endanger personal safety.
3. When using a current transformer at last, check the standard value of its rated current. Failure to reach the standard range of use will cause the transformer to burn out. Conversely, a transformer with excessive current cannot be selected, as this will affect its measurement accuracy. It is best to choose and use it according to the specific situation.
